UK Independent Qualification Testing.
Tests are carried out by any number of panel members who will ascertain the candidate for knowledge of his/her subject, practical ability to explain and understand their chosen subject/s and demonstration of their ability to teach said subject/s as well as apply teachings in a safe and effective manner. The five part test will be carried out over what ever period of time needed between one month and six months; extensions may be applied for due to difficult or extenuating circumstances (e.g. close family bereavements, injury, etcetera).
UKi’s differ to other common qualifications in the following ways:
The applicant follows his/her chosen studies with his/her chosen association, sport, Martial Art, fitness regime or other.
UKi’s interfere in no way with the training, running or other factors which may govern the applicant’s affiliated body or training programs, the only thing UKi’s need are satisfaction of training health and safety, awareness of potential injuries/child safety/protocol, etcetera; these are all demanded by today’s society and are being considered by law.
UKi’s offer the public a uniform system of qualification or qualification updating which is reliable and of a practical standard; some qualifications, although appearing similar, have differing standards which can create disparity and public lack of faith.
UKi’s, while offering a National Certificate, can and do work hand in hand with other National or International organisations and in no way devalue any original qualifications.
International, National or Local bodies are welcome to work with UKi in order to produce higher standards, but UKi is and shall remain independent and able to change with the times as required to upkeep public and instructor interests at highest priority.
